Food Insecurity Project

2020 and 2021 was an unprecedented year. Through these two years our Walk INN Food Bank was able to support the vulnerable people in our community with Free Food, Hygiene Products etc….

We have giving out 6871 Free meals in 2021 to those in need in our community over the year and we will continue to do so.

Our Walk INN Shelter was able to help out with emergency accommodations.

Our homeless advice was able to support people in the community in getting into work and for benefits claims including help with their housing benefits entitlement.

Thanks to Colin Reid our Great Ambassador who runs the Food Bank at the Lisburn Golf Club for his unstoppable support in helping the vulnerable in our community. We were able to reach out to many of our friends on the street during this December with love.

Thank you all for supporting this project, those who have donated, those who have buy from our charity shop and the vulnerable people in our local community, companies, funders and other organisation we are working with.

Our Walk INN Food Bank is totally run from the fund we raised from our Charity Shop; even though demands are high we do not get any financial support from Belfast City Council or Lisburn City Council. The Food insecurity project is a work of our Charity – Belfast And Lisburn Community Project.
