Belfast And Lisburn Community Project is a nonpartisan organisation in Northern Irelcommitted to preventing ending homelessness in our community to support family in need. helps people in honeed by providing advice practical assistance.

We believe that a decent secure home is a fundamental right essential to health well-being of people communities.

Our approach is tailored to people our community. Wherever we work, we do so with common values same respect for each person we meet.

Our work ranges from providing safe shelter, accommodation, food health services to helping people affected by homelessness receive education, employment social services they need.

We have an Assertive Outreach Team who go out onto streets of Belfast Lisburn, to help people off streets into accommodation.

The service works assertively with:

  • All rough sleepers
  • Those insecurely housed at immediate risk of rough sleeping
  • Those leading street-based lifestyles which may involve begging street-drinking

Our outreach team pro-actively identifies rough sleepers through regular outreach sessions responds swiftly to local reports of people sleeping rough or engaged in street-based activity. It takes a multi-agency person-centred approach to supporting people off streets into appropriate accommodation services, as quickly as possible.

We seeks to secure a rapid, supported re-connection for rough sleepers who are not from local area. It actively works with whole community to improve lives of rough sleepers, increase understanding awareness of rough sleeping reduce anti-social behaviour to improve environment.
