Walk INN Foodbank is here to help individuals and families in crisis by providing free emergency food as well as support until the appropriate agencies are in a position to assist.

Non perishable food for food bank are bought with the Charity funds from the supermarkets, our food bank drop off location in Lisburn Golf Club run by “Colin Reid” and donation from the public are “banked” in a our store. Food is then given to people in crisis as a result of referrals from registered care professionals, such as, Citizens Advice Bureau .

For self referrals or referrals from other organisations, the family or individual must be refer to us for assessment. We do not hand over food parcels or hygiene products to other organisation or people on behalf of anyone… the Individual in need must be assess by one of our staffs to make it fair for everyone in need our community.

We also work with NEIGHBOURLY, FARESHARE, FOODCLOUD for perishable food that have to be distributed immediately.

We also offer Chilled food that are bank in our Fridges and Freezers, also Hygiene Products with referrals

A Big Thank You! to everyone who made it possible during this difficult time. From Lisburn – Belfast at BALCProject we have taking our time and monies to help the most vulnerable people even though not all of us are perfect, we did not allow the pandemic or snide comments to stop us from supporting each others in our community. Our premises Landlord which includes the shop and our shelter is also very helpful by allowing us to continue doing our work even during the locked down that we do not have enough monies to pay the rents he is very reasonable to us and understand the work we are doing.And to everyone who have donated, buy in our charity shop, volunteer.
