EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION MODULE TO HELP TACKLE HOMELESSNESS
Building an Emergency Accommodation for the Homeless, Storage Unit and Food Bank, to help keep our homeless off the streets
The objective of this module is to develop the life skills of homeless people to prepare them for independent living. The content includes budgeting skills, opening a bank account, domestic responsibilities and knowing what to do in an emergency.
The module, which will ranges from 47 to 52 sf, will includes a bed with room for storage underneath, a lockable wardrobe, partitions, access to an electrical outlet, and an optional fabric canopy that can be pulled down for additional privacy. And the design allows for an optional medium-sized kennel that can accommodate a pet up to 30 lbs.
